It is important that the school office have a note from the parent or guardian whenever a student is absent, late, or requires an early dismissal. Similarly, a note is needed when a parent or guardian will be out of reach for an extended period. In mid-December 2010, and important personal letter was mailed to every current family announcing that STMC is moving forward with an $8.2 million campaign to build a stunning new athletic and community complex, featuring a 27,000-square-foot athletic and community centre with an NBA-sized double gym, a lighted artificial turf field, with new scoreboard and bleachers, and a field house. Given early major gifts, this dream may be closer than ever thought possible. The letter discusses the timeline for construction, funds committed to date, and the introduction of a $600-Per-Family Pledge introduced in the registration materials for the 2011-2012 school year.
