The STMC Drama Department is pleased to present You Can't Take It With You, a comedy by by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart, at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts March 1 - 3, 2012.

The Drama department is seeking many props for the upcoming production of "You Can't Take it With You." The home of Martin Vanderhoff needs to be filled with all kinds of objects that appear they could be from prior to 1935. Specific props and set items that are needed include:
Desk, typewriter, old newpapers and magazines, cushions, telephone, side tables, large area rugs, framed pictures of all sizes, trays, glassware, desk chair, dart board and darts, plates, odd salt and pepper shakers, luggage, unique ashtray, inkwells, unbrellas, hat/coat stand, vases, walking canes, dining room buffet tables, statues, plant stands, ship in a bottle, meccano sets, medals, masks, fake fruit, fake flies and bugs, large jar, books, tobacco pipe, an accordian, flags, chairs, chaise lounge fake firecrackers, easel and eye glasses
If you have any knick-knacks like those above lying around, please deliver them to the drama room any Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday between 3pm and 5pm. If you have one of the larger items, please email a photo of the item to julia.webber@stmc.bc.ca before arranging to donate/lend.
