Reunions that took place in September!
This was an awesome event! The family barbeque in the afternoon had over 50 alumni in attendance. There were also numerous spouses and significant others. The highlight though had to be the kids. There were simply too many to count. The event featured an awesome array of food and for the young ones, they had a bouncy castle, face painting and balloon art. The new STMC courtyard was the perfect venue! A good time was had by all.
Later that night the Knights of Old met at a local pub where even more memories were shAred.
Thanks must go out to the organizing committee. Steve Lewarne, Leo Bruneau, Dean Pelletier, Rocky Suffron and Steve Perizzolo and a host of others who helped out! Apologies if I missed anyone!
Special thanks also to the teachers who came out! Here are some photos from the day!

Grads of 1991: Left to right: Holding Child: Jamie Wilson, Leo Bruneau, Colin Bosa, Renato Emnace and Rob Almeida

Past teachers: Brother Cassidy, Bro O'Loughlin and Doug Rogers

An action shot from the day!
This was the best attended reunion that I have ever witnessed. Over 90 attendees (almost 70 of whom were grads) filled the STMC caf and spilled out into the courtyard. The event featured a catered meal, a photo booth and even the unearthing of a fake time capsule from years gone by. Now that was funny! These grads also managed to make a significant donation to the school. The grads of 2001 were a fun group during their high school years, and they showed during the night that they stilll know how to have fun and do it all in a first class manner.
A special mention must go out to Renata Lisicka who flew in from her home in Poland and was in attendance with her husband!
Special thanks goes out to the hard working organizing committee. I hate to miss anyone but Jake Power, Jorden Foss, Jamie Garbutt, Cedric Villamin, Eliissa (Rondeau) Robb and Odessa Tapia all played prominent roles. Once again, apologies to anyone I missed. Here are some photos from this evening.
Bro Gale and Marco Silva
Lauren Baker (who flew in from Calgary), Elissa (Rondeau) Robb, Olivia (Holowatinic) Burgon

A Note to All Grads of Marian High |
St. Thomas More Collegiate had a sister school from 1965 to 1989, where the sisters and once girlfriends of many STMC alumni attended. Marian High closed in 1989, to the great disapointment of many families. But the spirit and memories of Marian High lingered in many hearts, and many of the young women who came of age in Marian High.
For more information, visit the Marian High Alumnae Association web site.
Reminder: Even if you don't need our help, please let STMC know about your alumni event so we can publicize it to other alumni.
